welcome to croxroc

about croxroc

Croxroc® is an original story of a bunch of mates growing up in the imaginary small town of Deep Water Bend (a place that was made-up by the creator of croxroc; which he later found was an actual park near Brisbane, Australia where he lives).

The story was first presented in the form of 2D coloring-in books, made available at Amazon.com in 2021.  However, changing to 3D development would see the work halted until 2024.

Soon, the story will be rereleased in the new 3D form, with a focus on additional areas of digital consumables, as well as the coloring-in books.

Be sure to keep an eye out for the croxroc crew!

who is the croxroc crew

CJ

This is Crocodile Junior, you can call him 'CJ'!

CJ is the main character in the story of croxroc.

He is very young and very adventurous, but not as young as his brother! He loves to see everything around him and when he is with his friends, he loves to play pretend.

CJ is also an Australian Saltwater Croc!

This is Bebee!

Bebee is one of the first friends that CJ meets at Deep Water Bend.

She is a very beautiful young girl that lives and sleeps in a tree. She loves rolling to travel and her favourite color is pink.

Bebee is a very cute and cuddly Australian Koala.

Hi! my name is Bebee. CJ is my bestest friend in the whole wide world!

Bebee

Hello, my name is Bullion, but my friends and you can call me Bulli!

Bulli

This is Bullion, his nickname is Bulli.

Bulli likes his place, fields of grass and endless water supply. Life couldn't get much better; that is, until he joins the croxroc crew!

Bulli is an Australian Holsteins Farm Cow, because Bulli is a boy cow you can call him a bull or a steer.

This is Bubbles, CJ likes to call him Bubz!

Bubz is born in the first of the stories, and doesn't talk much, ok, he doesn't talk at all. But he sure looks cute in his egg-shell nappy!

Bubz is CJ's baby brother, so he is also an Australian Saltwater Croc! (just a really small one)

Hi, I'm Marshall. Sorry, I gotta go, talk later!

Big M

This is Marshall, we all call him Big M!

Marshall is really big for a bird, he towers over his parents, aunties and uncles, which he has a lot of and they travel together a lot. So everyone calls him Big M.

Even though the family move around a lot, they always return to Deep Water Bend often. Sometimes Big M just stays and hangs with the others. His family love all the trees and bush there. They sit and talk all day, or yell, it gets a bit much for the neighbours; it can get very noisy.

Big M is an Australian Sulphur Crested Cockatoo, with a beautiful coat of white feathers and highlighted yellow rich under feathers in his tail and wings.

This is Red!

Red is the name he got from his fury coat being covered in Australian red dirt, which is easy for him to get covered in as he wont stop running around and playing in it, even if he is alone. He loves to hang with his friends and especially loves to visit everyone else at their home.

Red is an Australian Kelpie, we're just not sure if he is an Australian Red Kelpie under all that dirt? woof!

My name is Red, I think. That's what they call me anyway.

Hi, I'm Dusty, don't tell anyone, but I am magical and very powerful! he he he neigh!

Dusty

This is Dusty!

Dusty is a little magical unicorn that sometimes pops around to visit CJ and his friends.

Dusty likes to take the crew on journeys through time and space, even to race around the moon!

She is an Australian Stock Horse, but with a magical horn, mane and tail that help magical things happen!

what is Deep Water Bend?

Deep Water Bend in the "real world"

When creating the story for the crew of friends, I tried to come up with a name for a place for them to live, that would sound cool and descriptive using words that would even be contrasting. So I thought about water ways, often the source of life on the land, rivers and creeks. Now with contrasting these with Deep Water, as many are shallow and in dry times, empty of water. The word bend would conjure the thought of river and Deep to imply plenty. Deep Water Bend.

After creating the name for the place, I thought I would Google Search the name and see if there is a place with the same or similar name. To my surprise, Deep Water Bend was only 20 minutes away from where I lived. I could have fallen out of my chair. I quickly snapped up my car keys and ran out the door. "I'm gonna check this place out!"

Below are some of the photos I took that very day.
